Visit Orlando Hosts UK Agents for Orlando Uncovered Fam Trip
Orlando, Florida, United States, April 14, 2025 / TRAVELINDEX / Visit Orlando, The Official Tourism Association for Orlando, welcomed travel agents from the UK to the city from March 30th for an ‘Orlando Uncovered’ fam trip to showcase hotels and attractions outside of the major theme parks.
The agents, representing Ocean Holidays, TUI, Virgin Holidays, Inteletravel, Magic Breaks, Luxe Holidays, Budget Travel, Barrhead and Travel Counsellors, arrived at Orlando International Airport (MCO) on a flight provided by British Airways during the week when the airline marked the 40th anniversary of its first flight to Orlando from London.
The packed itinerary included attendance at an Orlando Magic NBA game, a visit to Gatorland, ICON Park, SeaWorld Orlando and the Cirque du Soleil Drawn to Life show at Disney Springs which included a behind the scenes tour. Visit Orlando also hosted an informative ‘Marketplace’ event whereby 15 local partners shared news and information of their latest offerings in a trade show format, giving the agents a chance to learn more about the best local attractions.
The group were also treated to a taste of the diverse shopping and retail scene in Orlando.
